Denny's

Not quite ready for prime time. They've been open less than a month so they are hopefully still just working out the kinks. They were severely understaffed for a Saturday morning. Almost half the tables were empty but we still had to wait 15 minutes to be seated. Then we waited another 15 minutes for a server to come to our table. That was the easy part. It took about 40 minutes to get our food. People sitting nearby were getting impatient and leaving before their food arrived. My wife said her pancakes tasted strange. I think the kitchen staff is the main limiting factor here. Hopefully they can get it together soon or this place will quickly earn a lasting bad reputation.

We had a terrible experience at the one in Morgantown. We were seated at a table that was filthy, salt and pepper everywhere and wet marks where glasses had sat. The waitress didn't know the menu at all (no surprise since it's a new place). Drinks were ordered, she brought 1 straw for 4 people. Had to ask twice after that for straws. Asked for red skinned potatoes for my son, was warned they were spicy. Ended up getting him fries that were covered in seasoning, enough to choke a person. It's not like they had to coat them so much, or that they had to salt/pepper them at all. Some people cannot have that stuff. We waited for over 10 minutes for a drink refill while she talked to a man at another waitresses section. While all this was going on, I watched a waiter take food to a table that hadn't ordered drinks yet, clearly he knew what he was doing. We were talking about dessert when our waitress dropped off our check and left. When asked if I wanted to leave a tip on our card, I replied no. The service was horrible, and she has waited tables before (I had seen her at Shoney's on several occasions), she should have known common things (clean the table, give straws, check in on patrons, refills...). The food was nothing to brag about either. We love the one in Bridgeport and will continue to make the trip there when we want Denny's.

First visit here it was 0415 sat. Dec. 26 2015 had the turkey bacon swiss tomato , and

Fries and coffee all were very good polite and served well

Think though should get a free coffee with meal though

When weren't serving saw them cleaning for a place that just opened employees and management were friendly and polit e would recommend to any one
