Applejacks Learning Center Inc

I worked at AppleJacks for a little over a year at frist it was a fun place to work but then things went down hill. The teachers are not paid very good and you get what you pay for. If the teachers are not paid well they are not going to work as hard. A teacher left a three year old out on the palyground for ten minutes and she is still working there and the parent or DHS was told about it. The kids only get one helping of food and they can't have second on milk or juice and sometimes not even on the food. You are told not to tell the parents anything and when DHS comes out you are not a loud to tell them anything or she would write you up. I would never recommened this place to anyone. There are way better daycare centers out there.

My son attended Applejacks Learning Center from the age of 2-3. While I was happy with them initially the problem arose when my son turned 3 and because he wasn't potty trained they would not move him up. My son's birthday is in October, finally in December they tried him in the 3 year old class for one day. At that point my son needed to be reminded about going to the bathroom and because the teacher would not work with him he had accidents all day long and they decided that he needed to go back to the 2 year old room. Shortly after that my son became aggressive toward the other 2year olds. I did everything they asked of me, including taking him to have his behavior evaluated. No one found anything wrong with him. I pulled him at the end of January because I had begun to get calls stating that I needed to come pick him up because of his behavior. I did everything they asked of me to try to help my son and the one thing that I asked of them, move him back to the 3 year old class, they refused.



I guess Applejacks is a great daycare, afterall I took him there because of what I had heard. After my experience there I would not recommend them to anyone.
