Michael's Family Restaurant

Guaranteed disappointment unless you just get breakfast and coffee. They should close at eleven AM and save people from a very poor meal. If you must go there stay away from their pasta with brown dirt sauce and avoid their thin, hard, and veiny liver - it is truly terrible. I paid for two meals once and when they asked how I liked it I was honest and told them that it was quite bad - to which the manager came out and acted belligerent towards us. NEVER AGAIN TO THAT GREASE PIT! Spare yourself a bad experience and run away!

I have been in this restaurant so many times and my exprience has been always great. I go there in the morning time and morning staff is great. They are very fast and very friendly. If I have any problem or request the wait staff and hostess is there to help.

I drink their ice tea and it is always freshly brewed and tastes great. The restaurant is very clean and very cheerfull staff. I love going to Michaels restaurant with my friends and family.

Don't go here!! This place has gone downhill. From start to finish it was awfull. For starters isn't there a new law in affect about smoking by the entrance of businesses. Well the manager/ hostess was smoking infront of the entrance and didn't wash her hands when comming back in. Very classy.

The ice tea always has a rotten taste. Which is fine as long as the problem is fixed. This rotten taste is usually due to the container not being cleaned properly. I know this because in the past when this has happened the waitress will tell me the batch was made recently and the tea tastes and smells rotten.

I went into Michaels this evening with my family the waitress was very rude and had an attitude with every word she spoke to me and my family. When complaining about the tea she said she would make a new one. A few minutes later she came back to ask us if we wanted something else to drink because she just made the other batch of tea and was not going to make another one. I tried eplaining to her that the container or noozle was probably the colprit but she didn't want to hear it. And it was obvious that she had intentions of continuing to serve the tea everyone at my table got and thought was rotten. Yum!

After he ice tea incident and ordering our meals (which we got salad bar with) our soups were waiting when we came back to the table. Before finishing my soup and before even touching my salad the meal came out and the waitress just started moving the dishes I was eating from out of the way so she could put my dinner plate down. And she did this with no words. She spoke very little infact and kept giving dirty looks from the counter while we were eating our meals. The hostess and other waitress joined in on the fun as they all stood at the counter laughing, texting and talking to each other. How professional! To make things worse I complained at the register to the manager/hostess who made appologies for the ice tea incident and rude service then confronted our waitress while we were still there. We could see the rolling of the eyes but couldn't hear what they were saying. The hostess then brought her in the back when she looked over and seen our table starring them down.

This was one of the worst dining experiencs. It is ashame because they do have good food. The service is awfull and we were made to feel like we inconvienced everyworker there. When I am paying for a service this should not happen. Tonight was not the only time I have been unhappy with the service. Its no wonder the waitress that has worked there nights for the past 20-years quit recently. I will not be eating there again.

Now I'm generally part of the night crowd an Michaels, but the breakfast is just as good. I've been a patron for years and it's been through it's ups and downs but recently, the food has never been better. I'd highly recommend their Tuesday night all you can eat wings deal with the Michaels Signature Sauce. Holy cow. Yum.
