        Gould Farm, a therapeutic community that promotes recovery for people living with mental health challenges, operates the Roadside Café as part of its program. Along with great food, the Roadside Café is an important ingredient in the success of our guests who are transitioning off the Farm and working towards greater independence. Working at Roadside, guests experience a faster-paced, challenging work environment as they wait tables, prepare meals, and learn how to operate the grill. The Roadside Café is located on Route 23 (275 Main Road) in Monterey, MA- just a stone's throw away from Gould Farm. The menu includes foods and products from our Farm including fresh eggs, cheese, homemade granola and yogurt, and our famous pancakes with our own maple syrup. The Roadside Store and Café is a favorite of locals and visitors to the area. It was rated one of the top five restaurants in the country for breakfast by Bon Appetit Magazine. We also sell local food products including Gould Farm cheese, eggs, syrup, pancake mix, and other treats produced on the farm and locally in the Berkshires.
