- Dr. Salman grew up in Bellmore, New York and received a B.S. in Biology form the State University of New York at Binghamton. She received her D.D.S. degree from New York University College of Dentistry where she was elected to Omicron Kappa Upsilon, the National Dental Honor Society. Dr. Salman completed the General Practice Residency at the New York Veterans Administration Medical Center, and then continued at the New York Veterans Administration Medical Center where she completed the Residency in Periodontics. Dr. Salman received awards from the New York Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and has presented at the Scientific Program of the Greater New York Dental Meeting.

I saw Dr. Salman to have a broken root canaled tooth pulled, and every thing went really well. I than had a dental implant placed and that went smoothly too. I was very happy with my care and treatment. He was gentle and everyone in the office was great also.

Provided by Doctor.comDr Salman is really great.She always spends time and does the best dental scaling ever. I'm not a big fan of going to doctors and especially the dentist but Dr Debbie is the exception.
Dr Salman is the best! Great cleanings.Very thorough,caring and nice.Much better then the dentist I used to go to.

Provided by Doctor.comI've been going to Dr. Salman for several years and she is great!she always explains everything and her staff is really good with finding out about your insurance.Her office is well run and going to her is about as pleasant as you can get at the dentist.
Best doctor and staff .He took out my wisdom teeth and everthing went perfectly!
I had a great experience at Dr Debbie's office. Her staff is wonderful, my treatment was painless, and I was seen on time, Dr Debbie Is really great. If you need gum treatments, she is the one to see
I was really upset when my dentist told me that I had a gum problem but I went to Dr Salman and I was glad I did.Dr Salman was really nice and she explained everything to me.Dr Salman calmed me down and her office staff was also great and helped me deal with my insurance.I did need some gum surgery and it was really no big deal.I went right back to work and ate soft foods for a week.I really like Dr Salman and highly recommend her as a periodontist.
