Country Hearth Inns and Suites

This Inn is terrible. The staff is sleezy, the front desk is unmanned at night. Side doors to this Inn left open 24/7 allowing anyone to walk into this Inn. Continental breakfast? Where? I never saw one. All I saw and got an upset stomach. Moldy rooms, burns in the carpet and bed spread. Moldy air conditioner and the TV was not working. There was no hair dryer in my room that worked either. Stained mattress pad and I smelled pot while I was there. This place rates as low as it gets. Find another Hotel. This place is nasty and un secure.

My friend was looking for a hotel room in town so I recommended this one since it's one of Monroe's only places to stay. I wasn't with him when he checked in but when he did he was very tired and simply asked for a king nonsmoking room. Even though he didn't request it they went ahead and booked him the Jacuzzi suite which goes for twice the rate of a normal room, around $100 a night. By doing this the hotel fully took advantage of him and the fact that he assumed that was the rate for a standard king room, which is completely inexcusable and a highly exploitative way to do business and boost nightly profits.



As far as the room is concerned, one of the shower doors was coming off, the microwave didn't work, the fitted sheet kept coming off the bed since it was too small for the mattress, there were only two pictures hanging in the entire large room, and to top it all off the room had a faint smell of mold, especially when the water was running. Although I have recommended this hotel in the past the condition of the room along with the price of it and the disgustingly deceptive manner in which it was pushed upon my friend makes this hotel impossible for me to recommend to anyone and a place that I will never trust or stay at again.
