Best Bargain Appliance Service Company

Called on Monday 11-1-2010 was told they would be here at 12:00 pm on Tuesday. Called at 12:30 and was told they were behind and woud be here by 2:00 pm. Called again at 2:45 and was told the service tech wasn't back yet. I asked to be out on for the first hting Wednesday moring. He stated that would be better and they would be here between 10:00 and 12:00. Called at 12:34 and left a messgae to call back and let me know what was going on. At 2:20 I called A. Johnson and they had a repair man out by 3:40 pm. Best Bargain tech called me at 5:42 pm on Wednesday. I told him I already got my wash machine fixed and the service stinks. On Thursday the owner of Best Bargain called at 12:20 pm and asked me if the tech called. How's that for service? It's a wonder they are still in business.

Scenerio: Refrigerator wasn't cooling, freezer was defrosting when he arrived late in evening,food was already getting warm. He claimed to have rigged up my refrigerator to cool throughout the night, until he got new part, mother board.(which he sparked when touching with wire...and tripped breaker) I asked if he was sure, or I could have brought food to family 5 minutes away. He said food in fridge might even freeze! He left, we went to bed, woke to warm fridge. Calling to cancel further "service", dissatisfied with what we have received and asked for partial refund. Never acknowledging he was wrong, nor apologizing for loss of contents of refrigerator(which could had been prevented)but claimed I would owe restocking fees,(since he had already gotten part)owed for service rendered, if there was money left from my $200 deposit he would send me a check, then told me telecheck already cleared my check. After that comment, I called my bank and paid $33 to stop payment!Seeing I lo

No contract was issued at the start of job to repair washer. During repairs service man busted my hot water tank flooding 1/4 of my basement. He refused to clean up the water after he stopped the tank from leaking and refused compensation for items that were destroyed due to the flood which he caused. When I asked him for a person to speak to above him and that I would like the bill sent to me instead of paying on the spot-he took the washing machine apart removed the part and left my washer in two pieces and the floor still flooded with the items damaged and said it was not his responsiblity.

Very disorganized company. Does Not stick to scheduled repair appointments. Took to long for a repair. I DO NOT recommend this company to anyone, who wants their appliance repaired right away. Leaves messages they will be there on a certain day and then never showed up. When called, the owner tried to put the blame back on me due to his very busy and over booked schedule. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND TO EVEN MY WORSE ENEMY!!!
