Reviews
Came by to get my bobbin repair on my sewing machine because it wasn’t spinning. I told him I just went to another sewing machine repair shop called Tension Relief Sewing in Modesto and the owner said he couldn’t get parts to fix it and was very rude and had terrible customer service. He said he could look at it for $40 and it would take 2 week before I could get it back. He said if he couldn’t fix it I would be out $40.
Gary the owner of Modesto Vacuum & Sewing Center knew exactly what was wrong and took it to the back room and put some oil of the tire that spins the bobbin. Came back out in less than 5 minutes and said it just needed a few drops of oil. It works great now. The owner Gary didn’t even charge me. He said he didn’t do anything to it but added a few drops of oil on the bobbin tire and didn’t want any money. I recommend this place of you want an honest and knowledgeable person to work on your machine. I will be returning to give him future business for maintenance or repairs on my sewing machine and vacuum cleaner. Awesome customer service!
This is a small but packed business. He is so willing to fix anything I have taken in. I will be a returning customer.
the owner gary edwards is a jerk. gave be a bait and switch quote over the phone. when i arrived at his store he called me a liar from our phone conversation. when pressed as to why he didn't tell me there real quote he started yelling and told me to leave because he didn't need the business, furthermore st stated that he was the only one who could fix my machine. I told him to blow me and left. he followed me out of the store and wanted to fight. I guess that working on all those little screws and belts has made him crazy, or many he needs professional help. he is sure to need a good lawyer in the future. read other reviews and saw the trend, and should have heeded it. my bad, don't use this store.

WARNING ABOUT THIS STORE! The owner is a jerk. I just walked in with my four year old son with my Vacuum with a coupon folded up in my hand. The owner started screaming at the top of his lungs in front of my son. "We take paying customers here. I am not taking the coupon." I didnt even say anything I just walked in the store. After he screamed at me I turned around and walked out and he continued to yell at me saying "we are the only Dyson dealer here. So you'll be back". He is so rude. I didnt even say anything I walked in with a coupon in my hand. I am a paying customer and I planned to buy two vacuums today in that store including fixing my vaccum That store lost out on some sales today
This business owner is rude. He mistreated a 98 year lady. Please don't give your business to this kind of owner.
I bought a Babylock Grace sewing machine 16 months ago. l couldn't be happier with my sewing machine. I just had the machine serviced because I use it weekly. The repair service is wonderful, very fast and affordable. I'm very happpy with this shop and recommend it to all my sewing friends.
I wasn't sure what vacuum I should get for my home and the owner made a recommendation based on my floors. I purchased it and it has been the best vacuum cleaner I have owned. He said to bring my vaccuum in yearly for a free inspection and any needed repairs...even little issues. I was surprised to see some of the other comments because I had the opposite experience. I found him to be very direct/to the point...which I appreciated. He definitely knows his products and backs them up.

Provided by Superpagesi took my upholstery machine in to have it serviced, when i got it back it was a different more worn out machine with some of my recognizable outer parts on it.i engraved my license number inside it when i first got it,so when the number wasnt on this machine i knew it had been swapped.. a new pfaff industrial machine can be sold for thousands of dollars (mine could pass for a new one) the machine i wound up with ,considering the paint was worn off of some places and pretty torn up looking, could only bring maybe $400 or $500 at the most..when i took it back all i said was i might have the wrong machine by mistake.. he started cursing andscreaming that i was accusing him of swapping when clearly i did not..just in case it might have been a mistake ,i wanted to give him the benefit of the doubt..i wish i would have checked with the better business bureau about this place in advance,i would have known better...the bbb is handling it now.........................its far from over
they fixed my dyson and it works better now than when it was new and he fixed my wifes computer sewing machine for 49.00 and another shop in town told us its not worth fixing and gave us a 500.00 dollar estimate , this guy fixed it for 49.00 dollars wow we saved big take your stuff to the vac doctor

Provided by SuperpagesOwner was very rude when I called about picking it up and was surprised at how much he charged me for a simple clean out of a steam cleaner. I paid $30.00 to have this done before he charged me $69.95 and got rude with me.

Provided by SuperpagesI stopped by to get my Singer sewing machine repaired and serviced. They were fast! I dropped it off, did a little browsing in the shops at McHenry Village, and when I came back less than two hours later, they were already done! They advertise a 24-hr turnaround, but since I have to haul my two babies everywhere, it was nice not to have to come back the next day. Gary is great - very friendly and efficient.
