Goodyear Auto Service

I dropped off my car at 9 am for an oil change and tire bead leak repair. Havingbeen to this location 3-4 times before with no service issues, I was expecting the same service. I must say when I booked the appointment on line, they said it had a two hour completion time. I told them I would go across the street for breakfast and consider me waiting for the oil change to be done. I went back to the facility a 9:50 and stood outside watching the technicians work on four different vehicles.
Having been a Quick Lube Manager for two years, a Service Consultant at three dealerships for 15 yrs, and now working in Customer Service for the past 5yrs., I tend to know good workers and great customer service.
A couple of the technicians worked hard and were focused in what they were doing, but the other three were smoking and joking (literally) with one another, with no work ethic or care that a customer was waiting. By 10:20, they finished the vehicle and I paid for the services.
I then requested to speak to the Service Manager, who politely welcomed me into his office. Within 30 seconds of me explaining the above, he turned his gaze from me and went back to working on his computer, ignoring me completely. I do not remember ever having a manager dismiss a customers complaint as blatantly as he did.
For that reason, I am giving this location a (1) star and will never go back.

I would never do business with this store again. I purchased 4 brand new tires at a cost of $1372.00 in August of 2012. on May 17th I noticed one of my $350.00 tires was dry rotting. I went back to the store and showed them the tire and the service mngr. stated that they would have to order the tire as they dont stock them, we set up an appointment for Monday afternoon to swap out the tire. I arrived on time and took a seat in the lounge while they swapped the tire. Approximately 40 minutes later the service mngr. came into the lounge and showed me a print out stating that the tire would cost me $90.00. I couldnt believe that my top of the line $350.00 tire was not going to be exchanged free of charge. When I questioned why he stated that this was good years policy. I find it ridiculous that neither good year or this service center stand behind their products and charge a consumer for a defective product. The store mngr was remarkably useless and unwilling to budge. I would never do business with this store again nor will I ever knowingly purchase a Good Year product.
