Fatima's African Hair Braiding

Assalamu Alaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatu, I am not writing to say anything bad about the employees. I am writing as a fellow muslim. If this is a business run by a muslim or muslims, it goes against our deen to apply extensions to other peoples' hair or to our own hair. Here are references: 1. Narrated ‘Aisha: An Ansari woman gave her daughter in marriage and the hair of the latter started falling out. The Ansari women came to the Prophet and mentioned that to him and said, “Her (my daughter’s) husband suggested that I should let her wear false hair.” The Prophet said, “No, (don’t do that) for Allah sends His curses upon such ladies who lengthen their hair artificially.” Related by al-Bukhari. The majority of scholars agree that it is prohibited. 2. Abd Allah said: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) cursed the woman who adds some false hair and the woman who asks for it, the woman who tattoos and the woman who asks for it. Sunan Abi Dawud 4168 - Book 35, Hadith 10. May Allah (SWT) guide us and help us with sustenance. Ameen.

Their hours are incorrect, I called for hours before someone answered the phone. My first in salon encounter, they were very rude. But I excused it because it may have been a bad day. My second encounter was more of the same and worst. I asked for a single Goddess braid slightly angled with a curve. The style was simple but because they had never curved a Goddess braid they didn't want to do the style. One of them decided to do the braid. But she told me to have someone else do it next time. Then she changed her statement to say she would do it but come on Monday or Tuesday no Saturday's. They don't want to perform new and challenging hair styles. So, I won't be going back because I want someone who entertains new and innovative.

I was just there and they are rude and disrespectful (nonenglish speaking). They kept me waiting and worked on people who came after me but told me it was first come first served. Never go here it's not worth it

They are not honest when it comes down to money. When you talk to them on the phone they give a price, but when you go there they raise the price. Then when you come back the following month, they would raise the price again. They are talented but need to work on their honesty.
