Overall
Stay away!

When walking into this gym, the first thing you notice is the over whelming stench of God knows what. Then you see a fat sloppy man sitting in front of a computer. When he realized I was new and would like to inquire about the gym, he said hello. This was followed by a tour of the gym, it has nice new equipment, but there were four leg extension machines, four leg curl machines, like three adductor and abductor machines, etc. They were just all different manufacturers. This right off the bat seemed very lame! You would think a newer gym would want to invest in more of a variety of equipment rather than the same machines. There was one kettle bell, right there, they could have used the money for one of these machines and bought about 5 or 6 sets of kettle bells or anything else. The locker rooms, for being brand new, the lockers were beat up and rusty. After the fat man, John, gave my spouse and myself a one week pass he introduced us to an other employee, a fat girl, who would be teaching spin and yoga. I asked her where she was certified and she said "oh, no... I'm not certified. But I've taken a class in both before". Really!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Isn't this a huge insurance issue? Besides who in their right mind would take a yoga or spin or any class with some fat chick who clearly isn't in any kind of shape herself? I guess it's a gym for fat people to pretend they are doing something healthy, when clearly they are not. The only time my spouse and I stopped in to work out, to actually give it a chance, maybe our first impression was wrong. We walked in and John was chowing down McDonalds, yeah he's a great example of health. Then there were a bunch a guys sitting around taking a sh*t ton of random supplements which I'm sure not one of them actually knows the biochemical break down of these, but read some add in some Muscle magazine and seeing as they talked like meat heads, probably didn't have the common sense to invest ten minutes into seeing if these drugs they were buying were actually necessary or going to do them more harm than good. You might be asking what my knowledge is, well I come from a background in biochemistry and nutrition. I have two PhD's in this field.

Do yourself and everyone you know a favor, invest in any other gym, maybe one that promotes health?
