NEVER BUY FROM THIS PLACE! The sales staff, including owner Barbara Norris, are misleading, selfish, rude, and they lie. My little sister, who is 16, got a part time job and saved her money for a long time so that she could afford a dress for prom. She saw a dress at Barbie's Formals that she liked but didn't want to commit in case she found a more affordable dress, so the sales girl told her that if she gave them $175 they would 'hold' the dress for her for 24 hours, and if she decided she didn't want the dress she could come back to get her money. The lady scared her by saying that she should have the dress held because if she didn't, someone would probably come in and buy it before she made a decision, but wouldn't hold the dress without the money. My sister was worried she would be left without a dress and agreed. The next day she decided she didn't want to buy the dress so she went back to get her money. The sales staff told her that she COULDN'T HAVE HER OWN MONEY BACK even though the day before they promised her she could get it back, and they said 'all sales are final'- even though she didn't buy anything. It was not a sale. She didn't have any of their merchandise or receipt for it to constitute as a sale. She did, however, have a recept stating that she had paid to have a dress held- but they still REFUSED to give her money back. She came home without a dress and very upset because she had just lost over half of the money she saved for a dress and had nothing. I realized they were trying to bully her into buying their dress and called them to help her, I am in my twenties, so I thought maybe they wouldn't try to treat me like a child as they did my sister. Boy was I wrong. They outright said they weren't giving her anything but that she could come in and get $175 worth of costume jewelry instead. When I refused and insisted they honor their word, they hung up on me. Repeatedly. Including the owner. So I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau to try to resolve the issue, unfortunately the BBB can't really do anything other than try to mediate, so Barbie's Formal basically lied in their statement to the BBB saying that Barbara Norris, the owner, was the sales lady helping my sister and that she never promised my sister's money back. She was not the sales lady and my sister would have never agreed to give them almost $200 of her only money to them if she thought it wasn't something she could get back, like they promised. They took advantage of a young girl and then lied repeatedly about it. There were 3 witnesses that heard the sales girl promise my sister her money back. This was last year in March. My sister had to miss prom because she couldn't afford another dress, and Barbie's Formals still has her money. Please don't support these people by going there. That wasn't the first time they had done that type of thing either, after my sister told her friends what happened, another girl said she had a similar problem.

DON'T ORDER ANYTHING FROM BARBIES! Believe you me...nothing will fit! Stick to what you know Barbie... dresses not tuxedos. She talked me into ordering tuxes for our wedding. They were way to expensive and everything was winkled. I was so upset. I asked for a refund and they laughed at me.
