Overall

This cafe had the BEST fried catfish we had EVER had, bar none, the service was fast and friendly, the atmosphere nostalgic, and the prices very reasonable. We will definitely recommend this place to everyone we know, it is really worth the little extra drive from Memphis.

Old Timers Restaurant is located Millington, Tenn., and provides a train car entrance provides a railroad atmosphere inside and has a train that circles around the dining room. It is a casual, family friendly eating joint that serves all types of cuisine that include good home cooking entrees, perfectly aged prime cut steaks and Cajun daily specials. It serves pork and chicken smoked on hickory wood as entrees. A wide variety of breakfast items are also available to order anytime of the day, such as steak, country-fried steak, Creole omelette, sausage sandwich, pancakes and coffee and juice. The restaurant also offers a variety of appetizers and main course dishes that include deep fried mushrooms, mozzarella cheese sticks, chicken tenders, grilled chicken breast salad, pit smoked chicken salad, tuna salad, baked and mashed potatoes and fried shrimps. In addition, Old Timers Restaurant serves a selection of drinks on its menu.
