Didnt have full size car when I went to get rental , said come back tommorow to see if we have full size vehicle. Gave me a standard volkswagon jetta . needed car to do things dont have time to get another car. im disabled and getting in and out of the jetta was hard and i hurt my back more. I think i shouldve got a price reduction or free day rental. Dont tell people to come in if u dont have the right vehicle they want and are stuck taking whatever you have. I will not rent from this location again ill go to another location very bad service and car selection

I have used the Middletown Enterprise Rent-A-Car four times over the last year and have always had a good experience. Jacklyn and Nick have always been very helpful with the rentals and also arranging to have me picked up or dropped off after returning the car. I will continue to use them in the future.

I went to the Enterprise Rent-A-Car Branch in Middletown New Jersey, Highway 35 on Monday February 16, 2015. My vehicle was getting fixed at the body shop .The manager did a walk through around the vehicle; he stated he didn’t observe any damage; the vehicle was extremely dirty on the inside and the outside because of snow, salt and dirt. Afterwards the manager Nick tried to sell me his enterprise insurance coverage which I immediately declined. I told him that I was covered by full coverage on my cars and by my credit card, he was not happy. He proceeded to ask me details about my deductible with my coverage; I stated that it was $1,000.00. At that point I became very uncomfortable about all the questions regarding my insurance and was considering cancelling the reservation, I didn’t cancel and that was a big mistake on my part, I took the vehicle home anyhow.



During Saturday, February 21, 2015 there was snow and rain, the car became clean.



On Monday, February 23, 2015 I took the car back to the rental branch, I had left the car parked in my driveway for a week. I only drove the car from the branch to my home and back to the rental branch. On the date I returned the car, the manager went directly to the spot where he states there was a dent, and went back to the office stating that he was going to review the video recordings and history of the car. He continued to help other clients and take calls for the next hour and a half without checking anything. He continued taking his time and dragging, finally after we asked him to move us along he said he would create a report which he called Change of condition of car. I would call this episode a very well-rehearsed Enterprise already there dent insurance scam, this alleged damaged was previously there and could not be seen because the car had a filthy exterior which was cleaned by the rain during the weekend.



This seems as if they are retaliating against me for not getting the additional insurance which I had refused. This dent incident is a total fabrication. If I would have caused the damage I would not have a problem admitting it. The fact that I did not cause this damage is infuriating and it is not fair they are pinning this on me. I have since then researched Enterprise extensively and have found hundreds, possibly thousands of complaints against Enterprise and their partners claiming damage done to their vehicles and the consumers are claiming they did not cause any damages. These are fraudulent activities perpetrated by this company; it is not right and very malicious on their part. Enterprise needs to stop stealing from the customers and stop making fraudulent claims against (in my case) against my insurance company.

Don't go there...false claim for damage

I rented a car from this enterprise location and they submitted a false claim for damage to the vehicle. They charge you your deductible directly to the credit card they have on file for you. I did absolutely nothing to the car and should not have to deal with the stress of disputing this frivolous claim. They were completely unwilling to listen to anything I had to say and were very quick to submit the claim and bill my credit card. I'm completely disgusted at how they run their company. I strongly advise against renting a car from enterprise!
