Eva's Farm

I've previously given Eva's Farm 5 stars, highly recommended to friends and family primarily for their high quality grass fed organic beef, pork, chicken, lamb, customer service etc. as well as the fact the owner and I suffer from the same Chronic Type 1 Diabetes Autoimmune Disorder. We frequently travel the 3+ hrs roundtrip from Cape Cod to Cape Ann to stock up on healthier, higher quality organic proteins.
Unfortunately this has changed for the worse during last week's visit. After getting Eva's email regarding Dec CSA (pay $200 before 12/9 but get $250 fresh meats credit plus $50 in freezer case items. Seemed like a great deal but I just had major spinal fusion. Called Maria at Eva's Beverly, explained my situation and told "no problem, pay over phone and the ONLY limitation is $300 credit MUST be used by Dec 31st. Driven up Fri 12/14Friday, picked $50 worth of frozen items since Eva's BOGO of frozen meats. Told the associate my name for CSA credit, and wanted 4lbs; rib eyes & marrow bones, 4 small fillets, 4 thick cut pork chops, 4lbs; plain steak tips & short ribs, and 5lbs pork butt. But told only the pork butt, marrow bones & short ribs, are CSA eligible (of my list), they're out of marrow bones, plus BOGO doesn't apply to CSA customers, the only steaks CSA eligible steak tips and NY Strip steaks, but out of NY Strips ($12/lb). Notice store price for dry steak tips (preferred) is $15/lb (same as marinated ones) but $11/lb website. Told website price is wrong. He won't sell me Strip steaks in stock for CSA because they cost $4?lb than NY ones.
I ask for Maria or manager, not there, he calls Owner, Roberto who said "won't discount Strip steaks for NY Strips are out of stock and the website prices need updated for steak tips". I ask if they're willing to loose longtime loyal customer over $36 total in fresh meat adjusted pricing and why doesn't BOGO frozen apply to CSA customers?? The phone response is offer to me refund for CSA $200.
Pitiful, unprofessional!

Awesome service, super nice people. The quality is outstanding and we love using their CSA. For a family of 6 we use them every month and it’s a great value for organic meat. My kids won’t eat any other bacon anymore after having Eva’s!
