8 Fifty Wood Fire Pizza

s down the most delicious pizza I have ever had the pleasure of eating. I visited Naple Italythe owner I love what you are doing with the place don't change a thing and keep striving for excellence.

My wife and I go at least 4 times a month and the place is superb. All garden fresh vegetables are used wherever they can and you notice the difference. All soups are made from scratch and the Italian Wedding Soup and the Pasta Fagioli rival my late grandmothers which was great. I love the pastas and the hot stuffed pepper appetizer is a nice preview to any one of the unique but out of this world pizzas. This is a great addition to our town and before we went we heard that you needed to mortgage the house to eat there which wasn't even close to the case. If you have to do that those people must live in trailers. Unreal quality, service always with a smile and the highest quality ingredients result in all great food each and every time we go. One of my favorite places to eat and I travel the globe on a weekly basis. We love the place and even better that it's so close to home. P&C...C.

We have been going to 850 Wood Fired Pizza in middlebury, since they opened, Let me tell you they have fresh ingredients,nothing is frozen!! You can tell by the taste.Try the Native tomato pizza in the summer with delicious in season red tomatoes or the smashed potato pizza in the fall.The wings taste so good,cooked in the wood fired oven. I pay more for fresh delicious food anytime!!

This was our first time there. Inside was warmly decorated and very clean (loved the floor). Waitress Tracy was so patient while we grilled her about the menu. She was also very friendly and accommodating. We started with the wings which were cooked in the wood fire with a sweet tangy sauce and a homemade blue cheese on the side - probably the best wings I have ever eaten! Next was pasta and a make-your-own pizza - easy to tell that everything was homemade!! A wonderful addition to Middlebury!!

Our first experience was great, but the second....not so good. Took the wife and kids last night. Waited 45 min for our pizza only to find out that they were having issues with the ticket system. Waitress didn't check on us to ask how things were going or even to get us drink refills. Once I notified them of the issue, they merely apologized. It would have been proper to at least give us a free dessert for our trouble, but nope. Needless to say, I think we will find another pizza place to frequent.

Pizza was great - very fresh ingredients and not at all greasy. Salads were very good as well. Didn't have beer or wine, but the selection looked good (little different than most places). My wife had the stuffed sausage app and loved it. We went on opening night and it didn't seem all that hectic. Would and definitely will go again.
