My Beachside Wedding

My fiance and I plan to marry this winter and contracted My Beachside Weddings to perform it. Jennifer Richards was sweet, helpful, and bubbly over the phone while we were working out the details of our much anticipated ceremony. She returned all my calls and emails promptly...that is until the PayPal 45 days after we paid in full for our ceremony through PayPal. Once 45 days pass after making a PayPal transaction, PayPal is no longer able to file claims or dispute transactions. I have emailed and called Jennifer (or whoever she really is) many, many times with no responses, no calls, no emails since after the 45 day mark. I contacted PayPal to try to dispute this transaction and attempt to get a refund, but as it is past the 45 day period, they said they can do nothing. PayPal recommended we contact our financial institution to file a claim through them. We are crossing our fingers about the whole thing, but we know it is probably not going to be refunded.



DO NOT USE MY BEACHSIDE WEDDING FOR YOUR CEREMONY!!!



There is a reason there are sooooooooooo many negative comments on these reviews sites. I promise you I am not a bridezilla nor have I ever reviewed anything online. Please save your money and save yourself the heartache.....

DO NOT USE this company. Jennifer Richards is a CON ARTIST - do not let her ruin your day. She did not even show to our wedding today. We paid in full - archway, unity sand etc....and all we got was an officiant and a photographer who had driven 2 hours to get to us - I guess no photographers on Amelia Island will work for her anymore as she does not pay her vendors - check her reviews on yahoo ! This is one EVIL woman!

I would have to say that hiring this company was the dumbest thing I ever did. I needed something quick and this place was reasonably priced...They happened to have an opening right when I needed it and if I paid in full, well I would get a discount! I was able to get a hold of Jennifer fairly easy until she received all of my money. Then it was call you back later, never answer, then voice-mails not returned, emails not responded to..This led to my husband trying to call her from different phones furious that I couldn't reach her days before our wedding. If you tell me to call to finalize things, answer your phone! Then you tell me, family emergency. I have a big family and I don't have as many emergencies as you. Apparently, you give this excuse often. You promised to bring me my flowers to my hotel a mile down the road for photos..mind you this was pre-arranged. I call you numerous times with no answer as usual. Since my husband was already at the wedding site with you I had him go ask you. Then you say they are on the way. I call 10 minutes before the ceremony wondering where my flowers are, my husband tells me they are still in the back of her truck but someone can bring them to me. I say forget it b/c we need to start the wedding. I get down there 5 minutes before start time and you still aren't done setting up.Then you tell me that your PA system didn't work and you first said it got wet then you needed an extension cord. I didn't have time for you to go hunt one down on the beach. Then, I had a ring bearer pillow for my two step sons to share and you took the pillow and gave them dollar store pillows (without asking me). Then I start to go down the aisle and you play the wrong song, I was angry and you seemed dazed. I reminded you which was the right one and we had to start over. It didn't really matter since you were playing it on a Walmart hand held boombox that only I could hear. You followed me around with your laptop and webcam for the broadcast of my wedding I paid $75 for only to later learn that my sick mother and my step father only saw me get to the end of the aisle with my father b/c your laptop battery died. So a few days after my wedding I email you to ask you to return my ring bearer pillow that you took from my kids and you emailed me back saying you had it and you needed my address to send it to me. I still haven't received it and that was 6 months ago. I also emailed you letting you know that your broadcast of my wedding didn't work and I wanted my money back. I got no response from you. Then without any answer, I posted a review on yahoo about how horrible of a job you did, just like on this site..you responded to that alright trying to make me look like the bad guy saying my husband and I were told that because of severe wind conditions, that our video probably wouldn't work and that I didn't care...Now we all know that wind doesn't affect the ability of your laptop to connect to the internet...and if you had told both of us that it wouldn't work, then why don't I remember and why didn't you tell me right then that you would give us our money back.. Over all. If you have low expectations and nothing would make you angry, then sure, use this company. Don't expect to be able to reach Jennifer, get your money's worth, or get money back after things don't go according to your contract or whatever promises she will make you. That's all I have to say about that. Thanks.

KD Todd Photography is NOT part of My Beachside Wedding. Complaints have been filed to remove this information from yellowpages and any of her websites. She is a scam artist and owes money to her past vendors as well as brides! She didn't even show up to some weddings and have left brides heartbroken. There was a news story revealing her for what she really is.... I would never allow someone to use Jennifer or her company!

My beachside wedding did not come through for us. We had 9 problems. We were promised a PA system with a mic so that our guest could hear the wedding. NOONE COULD HEAR US! She made a mockery of a memorial chair for my dad. She made if after the ceremony and slapped a scribbled business card on the chair. There were 7 other problems but those are the two biggest problems we had. She promised us a $250 refund but we have not received it.

this is a scam Jennifer did not even show up we were all there waiting when Jennifer said she was running late we waited 5 hours and she never showed up and never answer my calls she took my money and never came

We had recently decided that we were going to change our location for our wedding from Destin to the Atlantic coast because of the oil spill. We did not want to take any chances of our beach being closed or destroyed.



We contacted this company and they were very helpful and concerned. They offered to do our wedding for a fraction of the cost of our original provider. They even helped us secure hotel rooms and rental cars for our family flying in. The ceremony was beautiful, everything I could have asked for.



I will recommend this company, and will travel back to Amelia Island Again.
