Strictly Yamaha

Carlos is very special! He is a top flight, highly trained Yamaha Mechanic, I can reliably say that he is the best that there is at his work and consequently in high demand. If he says he will be there, he will be there! He has maintained my Yamaha's for the past 10 years and I am very pleased.

Not a good person to call if you ever want him to come back and check the quality of work he does. Not responsive on the phone, doesnot do what he says he will do when he says he will do it, wont ever be touching my boat again.

I had a fuel problem with my 2013 40HP Yamaha. After running for an hour it would conk out and only run if the fuel bulb was constantly squeezed. Marathon Boat Yard Marine Center spent a week and claimed to have fixed the problem. I paid the bill and by the time I ran the boat back from their shop, it conked out again. I called the Marathon Boat Yard Marine Center and was told that they were sending a mechanic over to my location. NO ONE EVER SHOWED UP OR CALLED ME. I had to leave the next day for Coconut Grove where a friend suggested that I call Carlos at Strictly Yamaha. He came over to my boat, heard my story, looked at the fuel line and immediately told me I should install a larger fuel filter (MYSELF) and that would solve the problem. I did as told, took off for the Bahamas the next day and it has run perfectly ever since. Thank you Carlos!

I called Carlos from Strictly Yamaha four times to arrange the initial 20 hour service on my Yamaha outboard. Each day he said he would call me back, and never did. One time he was busy fishing, and he would call me back. I would not recommend this irresponsible mechanic.
