        Our full-service animal hospital is passionate about pets and their healthcare. We treat every customer like family and every pet as if they were our own. Since 1970 we've been Miami's other family doctor. Come visit and we'll show you why! History (established in 1970): For almost forty-five years we've been serving the needs of Miami's pet community. Though we're tucked way back inside a nondescript strip mall, you'll be sure to agree with our many long-time clients that we're one of the area's best kept secrets! Meet the Business Owner: Dr. Patty Khuly is a 1995 graduate of the University of Pennsylvania's vet school and a 1997 graduate of its Wharton School. A Cuban-American Miami native and a decades-long Sunset Animal Clinic employee, Dr. Khuly is part of the woodwork here. She started cleaning cages when she was ten and never left (apart from her years of schooling, of course). Though Dr. Khuly currently concentrates on patient care rather than on cages, cleaning kennels is a fact of life for everyone at Sunset -- even for "the boss." In addition to her hectic home life (16 pets and one human child, but who's counting?) she maintains a busy writing career, too.

        Called them after checking its wonderful reviews
        and being so desperate cause my miniature dachshund is very ill and being seen by three vets already whom have charged me a lot and see her getting worsen. Now she needed to be seen in an emergency since she is bleeding profusely from the paw of her damaged leg and has skin hanging from a hole she chewed on so the wound needs to be cured right away. I was told by the lady who answered the phone to take her to another vet since they were full for the day even though I was begging in tears for my baby's sufferings. Therefore I can't believe all these reviews on how much they care for our animals when didn't show any compassion for my poor baby. SHAME ON YOU!

        35 years of excellence can not be beat! I left only because I moved to Western NC. No more love and attention to both your animal and you could be given. Call for a reference. Chris 828-682-7464.
