Dr. Poplyansky is an award-winning clinician who develops close relationships with his patients. He seeks to gain greater insight into the physical and emotional causes of their individual ailments. He approaches medicine with enthusiasm and empathy, building a rapport with his patients and creating a plan of care that is uniquely tailored to each patients needs.Dr. Poplyansky is originally from Latvia. His father was a world-renowned economist and author of over 50 books. Dr. Poplyansky contemplated following in his fathers footsteps, but realized his calling and pursued a career in medicine. He earned his MD from the Medical Institute of Riga in Latvia and has had extensive training at the Central Institute for Physicians in Moscow and Harvard Medical School. Before joining Chen Medical, he practiced in New Jersey for over 26 years and thrived in clinical research. He is an active member of the American College for Advancement in Medicine. He is also fluent in Russian.
