Fox Physical Therapy

I have had 5 PT's in the last 3 years, for Rotator cuff surgery. All but Dr. Fox had me do the same exercises regardless of pain, and ignored that first surgery had failed. They continued with the exercises that resulted in more pain, as the tear got worse and my shoulder sat deranged for 2 years.



By my 8th week, I had full passive range of motion after an open subscapularis repai and a debriment of rotater cuff. He communicates issues to my surgeon, and best of all, he pays attention to my care individually. He is innovative, knowledgeable in kinseology, using a tool that literally breaks down scar tissue, and has repeatedly found ways to continue my rotation and strengthening of my shoulder dedpite my elbow interfereing with the traditional methods of of treatment.



At 3 months, although I have a ways to go, my ability to do tasks is already beyond what I was able to do in the last 3 years.



His staff has his pleasent freindly attitude, and he interns UM srudents. If he trains them they will be by far ahead of all therapists.
