I've used this company on a couple occasions and they were on time and did a very good job. The last job I had them do was to remove a large coconut palm that was struck by lighting. They brought the cherry picker and crew and had it down in a short period. The ratings on here may look bad, but I have had two good experiences with them and just called them to come give me an estimate on cutting down two large foxtails I have to remove.

I was wary of the company due to the low ratings on here but decided to give them a try anyway. Their estimate was very good and I received a big discount for being a first time costumer. I was pleasantly surprised, they came in time and had good machinery and trucks. They reshaped by black olive tree very well with a disc tool instead of the usual hedge cutter which left my tree looking much better than usual. I will continue to use them in the future for further maintenance. The staff was friendly. Probably one of the best landscaping companies that have worked for me.

WARNING... DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. They have terrible customer service and was completely dissatisfied with the trimming of my mango tree. I only have a few tree branches left. Twice did not keep the appointment scheduled. I ask to speak to a manager and they call me at 10:41 AM saying they would be going by. My husband leaves to work at 2:30 PM and no one had gone by. I call at 5:30 PM to ask what happened since I had never heard back from the manager. They tell me the manager got caught up and would be there in 20 minutes. This sounded more like they FORGOT (when I look them up they happen to have an office 5 minutes away from my house).



The manager meets me at my house and tells me that the job they have done is what was in the quote. He says that 30% of the tree was trimmed and I just did not understand what it was to cut 30% of a tree- his guys go to school to know what it takes to trim a tree. He goes on to say that they even trimmed my palm tree nicely of which I said that was not part of the job so it was irrelevant. I tell him that had my husband not been home they would have cut more of my tree down. I inform him that no lift was brought even though they had told my husband they would and I was not comfortable with men climbing my tree with a chainsaw because I did not want to be liable for their injuries. He brings me a copy of their insurance of which I stated no one ever provided. I tell him that the reason I had scheduled it for Thursday was because I wanted to monitor the trimming process so this would not happen and they did not meet my expectations. I told him overall I was not satisfied not only with the job they had done but with the lack of customer service throughout the whole process. I then did not believe they deserved the full amount they had quoted me for. He said he wanted to talk to my husband of which I said there was no point since he was even more upset. He said he rather talk to a "man" since I was not understanding him. I said my husband was probably even more upset than I was so it would not make a difference. He goes on to say that he wanted his money. I went on to say that I could write a check just like my husband could but all I was saying was that I was not satisfied and neither was he. He continues to say he wants to talk to a man to settle this and I said why was that so important. He goes on to say it's not like he is going to hit me. I just say I have not been disrespectful in any possible way and he continues to insist to speak to my husband because he wants his money. I say that he needs to come up with a better price, he goes on to say he will discuss it with his partner but to be aware I was dissatisfied with the company and would never use them or recommend them. I was also going to write up a review on Yelp and any other website to be sure individuals did not use his company.

They showed up, did a crappy job, barely cutting the trees, and left with out saying anything. When we called them to have them come back and finish, they said the would come back but never did. After that they stopped answering our phone calls. I do no recommend!

They don't come at apointed times. They may show up 3 days early, as they did for me. They may come when you're not home, as they did for me. And they may cut trees you don't want cut, as they did for me. They drop huge branches without roping them off and safely lowering them to the ground and drop them on hedges, bushes, or whatever happens to be underneath what they're cutting. And when they destroy your property they tell you the owner is out of town indefinitely. You will have to take them to court to get compensated for damages. Furthermore, when I checked with the Dade and Broward County Consumer Services I was informed that their insurance had lapsed and they were listing a different address from the one listed here which I have discovered is the owners residence. BE ADVISED!!! They're CHEAP in every way. They don't deserve a star. This app requires you give them one. 10 BLOOD RED STARS for DESTROYERS!!

I used this company to remove a tree that I had in my yard. When they were throwing out the tree into the truck they accidently droped it and broke a chunk of my concrete drive way, they then promised to fix it and they never did. Also the stump grind was not done properly and when I first called to tell them they told me to give it time to dry out and it never did so I then called back like 6 months later to tell them that I needed it corrected and they told me that I should have called before and that it was not covered. I told them that I was willing to pay to fix the stump because it was really ugly and the secretary Maria was claimed that she was the owners wife told me that it was not worth the waste of gas coming back to my house and then hung up the phone on me on several occasions. I have never delt with a more unprofessional company ever in my life. I had problems from the beginning to the end.

I called Econimic Tree Service (ETS) for a removal estimate because they left their flier on my gate many times.. The receptionist was very crass and I was told that the worker would be here "a little after 3pm and someone would call to tell me when he was on the way "......it's after 4pm...no call no worker?

i called back to find out what was going on and the receptionist said...oh really...i'm sorry let me call the worker and call you right back........lo and behold.....it's now after 5pm and still no worker or no phone call BACK from receptionist....

so i call back...speak to the same rude and intolerable receptionist ONLY TO GET YELLED AT!

YES...you read correctly...i I GOT YELLED AT!

and told that he'd be here any minute now.

needless to say i canceled the "appt"

(i thought when you make a timed appt. that's when you were suppose to show up?....well not iin their eyes!)

OH and boy am i glad i read the previous review!

tips for ETS - keep your timed appts or hire more workers, apparently you can you the extra staff!

I review tree permits for a local city. I have had 2 residents come to my office in the last week. They both were fined by Code Enforcement for hat-racking trees. Both had hired Economic Tree Service(ETS) to 'trim' their trees. Economic assured them that they did not need a tree trimming permit. This was not true. A tree trimming permit is required when you trim more than 25% of the tree canopy. One resident was fined $1500, the other $6000! Do not use them! Contact the County Agricultural Extension to get a list of Certified Tree Professionals.
