Dr. Braun is an experienced clinician with a friendly and relaxed bedside manner. She enjoys all aspects of primary care and is committed to helping her patients identify and achieve their most ambitious health goals. Dr. Braun received her MD from the Universidad Autonoma de Guadalajara and completed her residency at the Illinois Masonic Medical Center through the University of Illinois. She was chosen for Chief Medical Resident and had one additional year of training.She is board certified in Internal Medicine and is a member of the American College of Physicians. Medical research has always been a passion for Dr. Braun, as she has worked as a research volunteer to develop a protocol to study the adherence to treatment in Latino populations with Type 2 Diabetes. In her free time, she enjoys traveling and running. She is fluent in Spanish.
