Beware!!! Any adult children out there make sure your elderly parents DO NOT go to this place alone. They have high pressure tactics!!!! My mother went there alone and was pressured into purchasing two hearing aids even though she only required one according to her physician at Ochsner Hospital. First she was quoted a price over $5,000 and when she said she could not afford that the salesman dropped the price to over $3,000. She kept telling the salesman that she only needed one and he kept insisting that she had to have two in order to be able to hear. He made her sign a "contract" and pressured her to wright a check for $1,000 for a deposit. The next morning she called to tell the salesman that she changed her mind and did not want the hearing aids and wanted her deposit check back. He told her that she signed a "contract" and that she could not cancel the order and he would not return her deposit. Of course we called her bank and stopped payment on the check. We also consulted our attorney who warned us of people like this who prey on the elderly and their use intimidation tactics. He offered to help if we continue to have any problems with this place of business. I am filing a formal complaint with the BBB so as to warn others of their way of doing business.
