Red Phoenix Martial Arts

Classes are very good.. Students learn about character and perseverance. They learn skills they can keep for a lifetime. Unlike the woman who wrote "Michael is crazy," and "woman hater." She was banned from coming to class because of her angry behavior. She is an angry divorced woman who didn't even pay for the classes her adopted son participated in. She complained about everything, yet she was a reason for her son's chronic absence from class. I was there. I saw it!

My daughter attends and I watch. My daughter and I love it. She is doing better in all of her subjects in school. The three instructors that teach (Aaron, Michael and Marshall) are excellent.

Yes, I did sign a contract and called to freeze my account during my daughter's surgery. No problem. Never had a problem with a contract. I'm guessing that the complainers forgot to discuss renewing, forgot to cancel, and/or call the billing company with questions. "Stupid is as Stupid does." It doesn't seem right to blame Red Phoenix Martial, or Dr. Michael (who is NOT a lawyer- another stupid remark) for one failing to take responsibility. I think they're complaining to get even, although it's all their fault. I started out on a month to month and changed to a 12 month agreement because it was less expensive and belts tests fees were included.

I support Red Phoenix Martial Arts because it has made a difference in my daughter's life. It's a great program. We should all avoid the negative people who make their own mistakes and find blame in others.

Red Phoenix Martial Arts offers, in my opinion, one of the best taekwondo programs in the area. This is not a quick, "give-me-the-black-belt," program like some of the franchise programs I've heard about. It takes the traditional 3 1/2 to 4 years to earn a black belt. The program is based on World Tae Kwon Do as well as AAU Standards. My child has his blue belt and he has been at it for 2 1/2 years. He loves it. The staff is qualified (Dr. Michael has a doctorate in education), and passionate about their program. I am satisfied that this is one of the best anywhere in the New Orleans area.
