The River Source - Holistic 12-Step Drug & Alcohol Rehab

I came to The River Source because of a dependence on drugs and alcohol that had led to a miserable life. I chose The River Source because they had a very informative web-site and it was recommended by a family friend. My experience here was great, this treatment center is unlike any other I have been to. The River Source helped me because of their devotion to the program of Alcoholics Anonymous. It is also very helpful to have a staff that are in the program because they know what is was like to be in the throes of this disease and to be able to see how healthy they are today in this program is very inspiring. My life today is great. I have a better connection with my Higher Power, myself, my family, and my friends. I would highly recommend The River Source to anyone looking for a positive, healthy change in their life. Thank you River Source for a great, life changing experience!

I was brought to The River Source by my inability to quit my substance abuse on my own will. I chose The River Source mostly because of the recommendations by my friends who are in recovery, past clients of The River Source and current employees of The River Source. My River Source experience was top notch and filled with a class “A” schedule of meetings and recovery. I came to The River Source because I have a drinking problem. This problem has been with me for decades. River Source came up on the computer and was the first rehab to get back to me. River Source did help me by showing me I am an alcoholic and has given me a way to change my lifestyle to stay sober the rest of my life. I am happy living sober. I came to River Source for help to overcome my opiate addiction. My sponsor (2 years) recommended River Source. He is friends with Sharmyn who said that this was a great place. I have succeeded in having a "new" experience at this establishment. From the very first day the education and guidance received has been first class. The approach is unique vs. other facilities I have been in. The focus on Step Work and sponsorship is paramount to establishing a proper foundation. The staff is amazing! Everyone on your staff is in recovery and truly believes in what they do. Today I believe that I have a chance to get this thing. My aftercare plan and support network is outstanding. I will continue to visit for meetings and look forward to the opportunity to use this facility as a place to find sponcees after 6 months. The reason I went to River Source was due to my lack of control with my drinking and my life was unmanageable. I chose River Source due to the success of my brother-in-law staying sober. It was a roller coaster of feelings. I believe this facility has given me a solid foundation to keep my sobriety. River Source helped me find a greater power than myself and with that at working the program everyday along with AA meetings, service work and sponsor I have faith that God will keep my sobriety as long as I continue to work on my recovery. Recovery is a everyday occurrence. My life has a lot more clarity but will need daily commitment on my recovery. I would absolutely recommend this program. I came to The River Source on December 17, 2013 because I was caught stealing from my mother again. She asked me if I wanted to go to rehab and I said yes. I have been through The River Source before and feel safe here. I learned many things I thought I already knew and found out I was wrong. It was an experience that I could never fully put into words. My life has begun to go in a new and healthy direction. The staff here has helped me in so many ways and taught me so much about life and people. I am so grateful to everyone here for aiding in my journey into recovery.

The hype is not exactly what you will run into. At the Casa Grande facility, the staff is young addicts with little training and in short supply. The facilities are lacking in accommodations for meeting rooms, activities and social space. Many of the patients are court ordered and they simply do not want to be there. This along with the very young age of the majority of the patients led to an unpredictable environment that was often out of control.

The billing procedure can only be characterized as greedy and deceptive. The billing arrangement with Avee Labs has to be questioned. The Casa Grande facility is for patients with insurance. It could be concluded that The River Source has figured out a plan to bilk the insurance companies.

The idea of what they want to accomplish may be in their business plan, but The River Source facility in Casa Grande falls short in implementation.
