Oral Cancer Screening
Apart from regular cleanings, our dentists can perform oral cancer screenings, which helps prevent cancer from spreading and advancing to the neck and throat. These screenings only necessitate the dentist looking into your mouth and checking for red or white patches or mouth sores. He or she may also check for lumps and abnormalities. You should get screened for oral cancer every three years if you are over the age of 20, and once a year if you are over 40 years old.

Teeth Cleaning
We recommend that you come into our office for a regular check-up every 6 months. The reason for this is to begin early treatment of certain dental diseases as they arise and to prevent any future disease or damage. While you are with us, we will examine your teeth, gums and mouth. We will ask you questions about how often you brush your teeth and floss, and advise you on your diet, smoking and alcohol use, and teeth-cleaning habits.
