My experience with Walsh jewelers was very positive. I've always enjoyed the personal service that I receive. When you go there, ask for Cindy.

STAY AWAY! I went here because I wanted to support a local jeweler vs the big chains. I was given my Mother's ring when she passed away and then I gave it to my wife. After losing one of the seven diamonds we took it to Walsh. They stated that this was a poor setting as there were only two prongs per diamond and we would have issues going forward if we left it like this. After some discussion, I decided to have a custom ring made with the diamonds that were originally in my Mother's ring. They suggested having it made with 4 prongs per diamond in the new setting and assured us that we would not have any issues with losing diamonds and just to have them checked every 6 months or so. $2,700 later we got the ring back. It looked beautiful! Well, sad to say 4 months after my wife wore it a diamond fell out. I took it back and they stated that can happen to any type of setting. They had a Goldsmith look at it and they wanted $280 to replace the diamond and $575 to "re-tip" 14 prongs. Are you kidding me, 14 of the prongs were already going bad after 4 months? I asked what they could do since the ring was only 4 months old and they said "Well, we can fix it for the $855.00". I was furious! I told them to give me the ring back. I immediately took the ring to Kesslers jewelers. They had a Goldsmith look at the ring and said that only 5 prongs needed to be re-tipped. They re-tipped the prongs and replaced the diamond for $450. It makes me wonder how much of an "upcharge" Walsh added to the original setting when it was made. Absolutely no customer service here! I WILL NEVER GO BACK!

Was truly disappointed with my experience here. I have always heard good things about Bud and Walsh's. So knowing nothing about jewelry I hoped this would be a good place for our wedding bands. Each time I worked with Shawn. His communication style does not work well with someone who has no background knowledge in jewelry (which I think is most people). If you don't specifically know the right questions to ask you will be undoubtedly disappointed. He does not open up any conversation without you initiating it and he conveniently left information out. I was lead to believe one thing and when I got the actual product it was another and the quality of the ring is not as I had understood. When I went in after the fact to complain, I got a "well that's what you bought" type of response. So sad that I hate a ring that is such an beautiful symbol. Good thing it's just a material thing, but will be a sore spot for some time. I would suggests if you don't know your stuff, don't go here.

Wonderful customer service! Goldsmith is on site which decreases waiting for your repairs and re-sizing and the workmanship is top notch. Bud is very knowledgeable and treats his customers like family and not just a number like other stores. The jewelry is gorgeous and top quality like their service, Thank-you
