The Greens at Irene

Completely disrespectful, they are rude and switch between management constantly. Worst experience ever. These apartments made me regret moving into Memphis and I'm surprised I lasted my entire lease time. They are unbelievably unprofessional.

What ever you do... DON'T MOVE HERE!!! You'll thank me for warning you. Crime, ants, roaches, rude staff, incompetent staff, hidden fees, amenities that are broken half the time (ie. hot tub, pool, etc.), loud neighbors (even through the firewall!), and so much more. The staff treat you like you're in a lower class than them and they think they are truly something special for working there. The Lease has hidden "move-out" fees like a fixed cleaning fee, extra "property damage" fees (ie. drip pans for the stove)... yep. You would save yourself a lot of money, time, and hassle by going somewhere else. You should search other apartment sites and get the reviews for this place, 'cause none of them are good! Complex is mis-leading. I signed a lease in June 2010 for a 1 Bedroom apartment. When taken to view apartment, it was a horribly equipped handicapped unit. Worst I've ever seen. 1 other 1 bdrm was available upstairs. Something brownish orange was running all over downstairs patio. In the apt, the carpet was dirty and worn from previous renters. Stains were on the bathroom floor. The tub was in horrible condition. The apartment response to my requests for clean-up and maintenance was that the apartment met "The Greens of Irene Quality Standards" and if I don't like it, "take it or leave it". Before moving to this complex "TAKE A CLOSER LOOK". The grounds and office look great, but the apartments (I am told by the office) will reflect an aging community. The new mgmt is just an excuse they use to deny knowledge of conditions and problems that obviously still remain. I wish I had seen these comments earlier, but now I'm stuck and in tears
