Magic Nails

We have been going there for years. Management and customer service has gone down tremendously! Me and my daughter are a little on the heavy side. They have always talked about us in their "language" and laughed. Doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out your being talked about and laughed at. Lately they have been just rude. it is not clean anymore, the quality of work is not what it was. Well today my daughter went in and the manager told her to go to the end chair "because of her size". Then she turned on the massage on the chair and the woman screams at her telling her " NO - YOU DONT DO THAT" like she is talking to a dog or a child. My daughter asked "why"? and she wouldn't answer her. She never got hot water for her pedicure (we haven't had that the past several times). So she finally said enough and said she wouldn't be back. They didn't apologize or anything. Need to be closed down!

I think this is police report or lawsuit criteria!!! Only my third experience with this establishment. The first, I’ll admit was pretty good. I even raved about them until I returned 3 weeks later when I made a mani-pedi reservation for my mom, MIL and I for some girl time which was not the greatest, but we rolled with it (although that experience could be another review in and of itself)

Take a look at these pictures. I went in earlier today to have them fix a few of my nails. Never was I nasty, or demanding I even explained what I think happened in a way that gave them the benefit of the doubt and was really patient. All I needed was my topcoat redone for a few nails (I got their dip powder just a couple days prior). Mai must have had a really bad day or was upset that I was going to take 5 minutes of her day.

I did not understand what was happening but I could tell Mai was angry. As Mai was buffing my fingers (because it was not just over my nail!!!) I look at my mom in unbelief with my jaw dropped because I could not believe what she was doing to me. She took the buffer over a few of my fingers making superficial cuts on my thumbs, index fingers and one of my middle fingers. Needless to say we walked out after that. It’s been 8 hours since we left and my fingers are still burning!

Luckily it was my birthday and I asked my husband for a dip powder set and drill for my birthday so I was able to put the top coat on myself when I got home.
