Brie D. Wallace was born in Knoxville, Tennessee, in 1983, and graduated from Farragut High School, magna cum laude, in 2001. She is admitted to practice law in Arkansas, Mississippi, and Tennessee, and the federal courts of the United States District Court for the Western District of Tennessee, the United States District Court for the Middle District of Tennessee, the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Tennessee, the United States District Court for the Southern District of Mississippi, the United States District Court for the Northern District of Mississippi, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit. Mrs. Wallace earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of South Carolina, magna cum laude, in 2005, and earned her Juris Doctorate from the University of Memphis in 2009. In law school, Mrs. Wallace served as a Notes Editor on the University of Memphis Law Review and earned a spot on the University’s National Mock Trial Team that competed in Atlanta, Georgia. Additionally, Mrs. Wallace has two published works: Poor Policy Stunts Tennessee Tort Law Again: The Need for Tennessee’s Adoption of the Loss of Chance Doctrine in Medical Malpractice Litigation, 40 U. MEM. L. Mrs. Wallace has been a past or present member of the Memphis Bar Association, Tennessee Bar Association, Mississippi Bar Association, and the American Bar Association. Mrs. Wallace specializes in insurance defense, insurance coverage, construction litigation, family law, debtor/creditor law, business litigation, collections law, criminal law, and commercial litigation. Actively involved in her community, Mrs. Wallace sits on the planning committee of the RIBS Adult Soccer Tournament benefiting LeBonheur Children’s Hospital, participates in the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital Fundraising HERO program, and sits on the vestry of Calvary Episcopal Church in downtown Memphis. Mrs. Wallace lives with her wife, son, two dogs, and one irritable cat in Midtown, Memphis. Mrs. Wallace also enjoys watching South Carolina football, playing in Memphis area soccer leagues, running 5ks, and hiking with her dogs at the Shelby Farms dog park.
