        Worst auto shop ive ever been ...

        Worst auto shop ive ever been to, and that includes the shop that stole my prescription out of my glove box.



        Took car in for coolant leak which caused overheating. Charged 300 to fix a couple hoses.



        Didnt fix the actual problem, so i took it back, charged 100 to hollow out my catalytic converters (illegal btw), and then instead of welding them back together, he puttied them.



        problem wasnt fixed so i took it back to him to fix it. over the course of 6 weeks:

        -told me part needed was sent to wrong place (i wait a week)

        -tells me the part is actually on back order (wait a week)

        -i call VW dealership he said he ordered from, NO ORDERS FOR HIM

        -i call him, he says he was getting it from a junk yard instead now (i wait a week)

        -call him, on monday saying i want it done by the weekend. he says hes working on it HIMSELF, and should be done friday. i say if not, are you open saturday? He says he would come in if it didnt get done friday.

        -Call on saturday, no one is there.

        -Go to see WTF is going on, no one is there, car is parked in the same spot it has been. had a brand new battery when i took it there, battery is dead, obviously as it hadnt been TOUCHED for weeks.

        -Finally now, friday, a week after that, i go there, he isnt there, i jump the car myself, (had to drive thru grass, as the car parked behind me didnt start, nor did the truck next to me).

        -Drive home, car is in worse condition than when i took it to him.



        The ONE STAR rating i gave is simply because atleast one star has to be given-- one star is overly generous for this guy.

        why dont you just tell the truth about your car when you came in for the hoses you said that you had gotten a est from some place for 900 dollars to put on the same hoses i did for 300 the parts alone came to 180 dollars and they were located down behind the motor in wich we had to pull half the motor apart to do wich we had two hours labor in doing it you are the one that was saying how broke you are and did not have the money to fix everything on the car u asked to fix the water leak and that is what we did when you brought the car back and wanted me to work on it and pay me later and i told you that i could not afford to do that u got mad it is ashame that as long as i was doing something for you i was a nice guy

        I recommend staying far away f...

        I recommend staying far away from this place. I was ripped off by them - I brought may car in that had a loud exhaust, he said the pipe was separated and he would weld it together. After about a week, it was loud again and codes came up. He said I needed a new catalytic converter for over $300. I took it somewhere else, they found that he had just put the pipe together with putty, not weleded it (he charged $200 for this putty), and the code came from the resulting exhuat leak from the putty job - not in need of a new converter. He was not honest at all with me as he says on his site.

        if you would take this car to someone to check the work they would tell you that we did weld a piece of pipe in your exhaust and then over top of the weld we always put muffler cement over the weld for any imperfections that might be in the weld also it keeps it from rusting you are the one that did not want to replace everything like it needed like i told you to do yes i tried to just fix it to save you money just because it probley started leaking someplace else you could have brought it back and i would have checked it out for you and would have helped you with it and on your ambient air temp switch that cost me 60 dollars you came back when that went bad and i got you another new one that cost me another 60 dollars because they do not take back elec parts back you never said a word about anything ,i try not to treat peolpe like the big box stores do and i try to save you money on your exhaust but when it dosnt work all u want to do is complain on the cumputer instead of being a man and coming to me with your problums ,i am the only one that answers the phone here and if i leave i have call forwarding so you did not try to get ahold of me

        Great mechanic, great service!

        Rob's auto provided me fast and efficient service, a comfortable place to wait while the work was being done, a more than fair price for the work accomplished, and it was done right the first time.
