Founded in 1981, MTK Electronics Inc. designs and supplies a wide range of EMI (Electromagnetic Interference)/RFI (Radio Frequency Interference) power products, custom magnetics and allied power packaging products. Based in Medford, N.Y., the firm serves telecommunication, aerospace and defense markets. Operating from a 15,000-square-foot facility, MTK Electronics Inc. has designed more than 3,000 different types of EMI/RFI filters and filter assemblies for military applications. These comprise AC/DC filtered converters, filtered transformers, large ground based power distribution units, cylindrical filters, rectangular/tubular filters, single/dual/triple circuit filters and many more. In addition, the firm produces a range of custom magnetics, including high voltage transformers, inductors, chokes, coils, modulators, pulse forming networks and the components internal to these units. Besides designing and manufacturing, it also houses an EMI testing facility for its customers.
