Horrible business!

Along with the other review he told me 2-4 days he had my car for over a month. I utilized him for insurance claim, yes, he helped me out and didn’t make me pay upfront for my 500 deductable but the job was purely done. My situation was my car was over sprayed but a painting company at local business and my car was cover front to back with paint. It was special steal paint so it was made not to come off any kind of metal. A coworker of mine had the same issue but went to another body shop. His body shop did a full paint job due to when attempting to buff it out it took off the clear coat and left swirl marks on the paint. They also replaced all his plastic parts like the bumper mirrors and trim. Rick only buffed my car and painted only 1 part of plastic not all of it and it made the part he painted a different color. He wouldn’t have said anything if I didn’t call him out on it. After I received the car back about a month later his wax coating rinsed away and it was a mess scratches and swirls all over the car. I brought it back and then he told me “oh I didn’t have all the right tools to do the job the first time.” So he did another buff with the “right tool” and I made him paint the rest of the cars plastic part to match the part he painted. Another month after having him redo the car, my car is still a mess. It is still covered in swirls and the paint on the plastic looks terrible. I contacted my insurance they told me there is nothing they could do, due to he is not a Commerce approved auto body. I always try to support local business before going to the big shops but this time I wish I didn’t.

This is totally ripped me off. He told me 2 or 3 days and it took over three weeks. The guy should be arrested for deceitful business practice. So to anybody reading this, under no circumstance do not go to this body shop.
