Saying goodbye in the privacy of your own home.

General Info
For most of us, our companion animals are beloved members of our families. They give us so much love and, in return, they look to us to make the tough decisions for them when they are suffering due to advanced age or prolonged illness. The decision for euthanasia is never an easy one. We are faced with this agonizing decision when medicine can no longer alleviate the pain and suffering of our pet. It is a last act of friendship that requires both courage and love. There is a time when we know in our hearts that euthanasia is the only humane choice.

After sixteen years and 4 months of devotion to me, I had to make the decision to let go of my beautiful Keesha. She did not want to stop taking care of me, but I knew she was getting tired. I'd never met Dr Carney, but she came and introduced herself to Keesha and to the rest of us. She told us what to expect and was so gentle, caring and compassionate. I think Keesha knew, as she laid down on her bed, that we were saying goodbye. Her companion dog was with us. It was as stress-free and comfortable as it could have been for us all. I will be forever grateful for the wonderful service provided by Dr Carney.

One of the hardest decisions that our family has had to make was to allow our 12-year old dog Chloe to earn her well-deserved angels wings on May 14, 2011. Chloe was able to earn those wings while peacefully laying in our arms, wrapped in her favorite blanket, surrounded by her family in the comfort of her own home. The event took a great emotional toll on our family and both Dr. Benner and the cremation service treated our family with the utmost respect and compassion while treating Chloe with dignity in her final earthly moments. We cannot say enough about how invaluable Peaceful Pet Passages was for our entire family. You allowed us to let Chloe pass with no regrets and no questions about if we made the right decision at the right moment. In the end, Chloe was only living to please us finding her daily dose of spirit from the love she had for her family. As her family, we needed to let her go out of the same love we had for her and thanks to your service, she was able to pass comfo

We are so grateful for this service. Less than two weeks ago, when we realized that our feline son, friend and companion of 18 years, Sumo, was nearing the end of his time on this earth, we called Dr. Carneys office and left a message. Peaceful Pet Passage returned the call and, after the initial discussion, John told us they would take care of everything. That evening, Dr. Carney came to our home, along with Rob from Peaceful Pet Passage. They both were very gentle with Sumo and showed the utmost respect for not only Sumo, but for his mom and dad and the pain and heartache we were going through. In retrospect, it was the ultimate expression of our love for him to let him pass to the Rainbow Bridge in his bed with his favorite toy and his two favorite people by his side in the environment he loved. We miss him so much every day, but know he is no longer weak or sick. We highly recommend this comforting service, and our special thanks go out to Dr. Carney and Rob. Gloria Moody and La
