La Look Day Spa

I went to La Look as a newcomer to the North Carolina area (I live in Winston-Salem). I had moved down here from NY and I was used to going into dominican salons in NY to get my hair done. Lo and behold, I found the right spot to go to. The ladies that work there are so professional and just down right nice. They took such good care of me, providing complementary refreshments and snacks. Conversation was pleasant and cordial. Atmosphere was oh so relaxing and it was SOOOO CLEAN in there. I not only got my hair done, but my nails and feet as well. They offer such a variety of services, such as licensed massage therapy, body treatments, facials, eyebrow and body waxing just to name a few. They even offer spa parties for Bridal showers, Bachelor/Bachelorrette parties, Birthday parties and business meetings. It takes a few miles to get there, but for the service and pleasantries, its worth the trip. They work by appointments as well as walk-ins and they don't gear their business towards any particular group. They are versatile and multi-ethnic in their skills (meaning that they work on caucasian as well as african-american and hispanic hair), Natural hair (braids and dreds), cuts for the entire family, permanent makeup services, gentleman services (men's cuts, pedicures, manicures, massages), Lash Enhancements. I could go on and on, but I'd rather that you yourself check it out and see what you think.

La Look Day Spa is a full service spa, with all your beauty and wellness needs under one roof! The owners and staff are knowledgable, friendly and provide their clients with the utmost respect and quality of service. They have a full service hair salon specializing in natural hair care, massage therapist who specializes in just about every kind of bodywork you could want (including body treatments), an esthetician who performs perminent make up, as well as, a full manicure/pedicure set up. I would definately recommend this spa to anyone who finds quality of service and convenience to be a "must!" They are currentl offering "pre-opening" specials to local customers. On June 19th, 2008, they will be hosting their official Grand Openeing, complete with the ribbon cutting, radio spots and interveiws in the local papers!
