Best Buy

The poorest of poor service. I purchased a tv 3/17 in the morning. 3/22 was the delivery date. It was open so I was able to choose a morning or afternoon delivery. While on the phone they changed it to 3/23 and then to 3/28. No explanation only they were sorry. I have been a customer since they first opened in CA and in AZ. I never had to wait 6 days let alone 11 days for a delivery from Best Buy. I am done. Tomorrow I am getting a refund and purchasing elsewhere. This is how they treat seniors. They will never get me back as a customer!

They always treat me well and are very knowledgeable.

I love Best Buy but hate to admit it is slipping. It reminds me of what happened at Circuit City as customer service went down lower and lower. When shopping, if a sales rep does approach me the line is always, "How are you doing?" I usually say something like, "I'm doing ok I guess." The sales rep then walks away. Actually, I would prefer, "Welcome to Best Buy! How can I help you today?" I literally went into this store ready to spend in excess of $500, already knowing what I wanted but the customer service was so poor that I simply could not leave my hard earned money there. I went to Comp USA instead - which is quite an inconvenient drive but I do like a little bit of service if I am going to spend that much money. I saw the rise and fall of Circuit City, K-Mart, Roses, A&P, etc., and now sadly I see the same happening at Best Buy. I have spoken with quite a few friends who share my opinion. Turn it on Best Buy or you too will be turning out the lights.

My experience has shown that this store in McKinney misrepresents the Extended Warranities that they sell. Addtionally from higher management down, the entire structure is set up to not resolve consumer complaints, but rather ignore them. One great example: Call the Best Buy store in McKinney, Texas and attempt to get the name of the General Manager of this store....it will not be given to you by personnel in the store. Also Google complaints against this store on-line in McKinney, Texas. You will find nothing but negative remarks about customer service with Best Buy of McKinney, Texas.
