All Smiles Dental

Don't waste your time! I recently left South Texas Dental to come to All Smiles, looking for a new dentist, ortho, atmosphere, and shorter waiting time. I was really happy with the first visit and the dentist for my children.

My children recently had an appointment for ortho and when I called to confirm that morning, they told me that they no longer do ortho on Thursdays. I asked them, well couldn't you have made a phone call to me letting me know that? What would I have done if I didn't call to confirm and had just came in? Would you still have done ortho on them? The managers response....well uuhhh Medicaid has patients still on hold waiting for approval and what not....our office would have called you by noon to let you know. Basically, that it was ALL Medicaid's fault. Normally, dental/doctor offices let you know information like this ahead of time, they've had 2 months to inform me.

Also, when I had got disconnected with the manager, I called back and they put me on hold and came back on the line and said that they had to take a message.

Needless to say...VERY DISAPPOINTED!

staff was nice, but wait time was considerable- 20 minutes past appt. time, and with kids that's too long. They also brushed his teeth with normal brush- not the kind my dentist uses on my teeth.

For a pediatric dentist I wanted cool fun waiting room, quality care, and on time appointments. (If I'm going to be there with 2 little kids on time I expect to get seen on time)
