If I could select 0 stars, I would. I live in Alexandria,VA, 22309. I was very interested in a used 2015 Ford F250 listed online by McFarland Chevrolet Buick, Inc. which is 505 miles away from my home. I called to inquire about the vehicle which was advertised as having a clean Carfax, which it did as I paid the $39.00 to see it myself. After 2 days worth of phone calls with the salesman, I agreed on a price I was happy with. Saturday morning at 12am, I departed for my 500 mile journey to pick up the truck. I arrived at the dealership at 930am. As I parked in front of the dealership, I saw the truck in the rear of the building being detailed. Quickly met the sales person face to face for the first time. He had the truck pulled around to the front. After one walk around the truck, it was obvious the truck had prior body damage to both rear quarter panels that had been poorly repaired. There were obvious drip marks from paint on both sides and overspray from the clear coat - clearly not a factory paint job. It was so bad a visually impaired person would of noticed it! This was obviously a complete shock to the salesman and management. Apparently they had not noticed the repaired damage and therefore didn't inform me about it before I left for the 500 mile journey to buy the truck. I did offer to buy the truck at a lower price knowing that I would have to pay out of pocket to have the prior repair fixed correctly by a professional body shop by my home, since I know they weren't going to fix it. My offer was refused by the sales manager who's name I'm not even sure of as he NEVER ONCE introduced himself to me after my 9 1/2 hour drive, or even spoke to me about why he wouldn't negotiate on the price in light of the shoddy repair work. Needless to say, I left KY in the same vehicle I arrived in. BUYER BEWARE when dealing with McFarland Chevrolet Buick Inc.!

I have purchased 2 new company vehicles here & getting ready to purchase another. This is the only place I will buy. It is 2 1/2 hours from my shop but the price & customer service is second to none. Just a great no stress, low pressure, best price place to shop.. I cannot comment on their service department as I have not had any issues.

Run!! Don't Stop!! If you're looking for good car n to make a deal w them, don't stop at McFarland's in Maysville.

The Service Dept is Friendly, helpful and do good work n stand behind their work. Unfortunately we know very well because the car has been abt 5 times in a month due to broken things or the just not working. Thank goodness its under warranty because we sure couldn't afford any of these Major Repairs. And of its course its not simple things to notice on 1st look over. Its the sensor not working or the broken seal ard the door.....

The Management n Sales staff is horrible n that's why its a 1 Star rating. If you buy a Luxury up Scale Car, you expect to get Quality. Once we got home we saw all the broken n not working issues w our New Car. Do they look at it before they sell it?? Do they care??

The Buying process took way longer then any we experienced. And if you want to make a Deal, forget it. Price said is it. And this is the 1st Dealer that Just refused to "Gas it Up". Offered to put in $5 worth when it got down too it but for some reason they never bothered too.

On top of all the time we waited for the paperwork (there was only 1 other customer, I hate to see what its like if they're busy) they took the car off to clean n put in the Mega amount of Gas. 45 min or so later they bring it back in the same dirty condition as it left n "no Gas". What were they doing, Out for lunch maybe?? We just wanted out so we left w it dirty saying we'll do it ourselves.

So Run everyone, don't Stop at "McFarland's in Maysville

If you're looking for good deals n quality cars you may want to pass on McFarland's in Maysvile, Ky.

Our new car has had 5 things that were major repairs done or scheduled to be done. Why are they selling cars that are like this especially when you are buying a top of the line Luxury Car?? If it wasn't under warranty we wouldn't be able to get the service work done.

Also it took much, much longer on the paperwork n the place was dead so they weren't over worked. Its also the 1st place ever that refused to work on a deal n that out right refused to fill the car up with gas. They offered to clean it up n put $5 of gas in, it took almost 45 min n when we got it finally it was in the condition as early n they didn't bother putting that mega amount of gas in. Wonder what they were doing during all that time.

We've dealt w the Service dept a lot, unfortunately, n must say they are friendly, helpful n do quality work. 5 Stars to Service n 1 for Sales n Management
