Obstetrics
Finding an obstetrician that you trust is an essential part of any modern pregnancy and birthing plan. That’s why we offer the most up-to-date and comprehensive obstetrics services.
Pregnancy
All pregnancies carry some degree of risk, but a high-risk pregnancy increases your baby’s chances of developing health issues throughout your pregnancy and after delivery. Several factors can place you in this category including pre-existing medical conditions, age, a pregnancy involving twins or more, and a history of miscarriages.
Labor and Delivery
Post-delivery care is an ongoing process. Your initial follow-up visit should occur within 6 weeks after childbirth and will include a comprehensive assessment of your well-being, a complete physical examination, and an opportunity to discuss any concerns you have, such as contraceptive options, breastfeeding, resuming sexual activity, and adjusting to life with your new baby.

Cervical Cancer
Our women’s wellness visits include annual physicals and pap smears, mammography referrals, cervical cancer screenings, contraception counseling, treatment for the symptoms of menopause, management of menstrual cycle, teen and adolescence care, and more.

Ultrasound
We routinely perform 3D and 4D Ultrasounds to best monitor your progress. Imagine being able to see your baby in detail. Our practice is AIUM Certified.
Mammography

General Surgery
Dr. Steven Ravins – for the past 25 years has consistently provided Obstetrical Care while maintaining one of the lowest C/Sec rates in NYC. From his earlier training in General Surgery, he has honed into providing a combination of aesthetic surgical skills while managing high risk obstetrical care. Many of his achievements in promoting Gentile C/Sections are proudly posted. Dr. Steven Ravins also served as the Assistant Director of OB/GYN at the Northwell Hospital in Forest Hills for 14 years
Endometrial Ablation
Many common gynecological conditions require surgical procedures for women of all ages, including uterine fibroids, ovarian cysts, endometrial ablation, and infertility. Traditionally, many of these procedures were done through large incisions, resulting in a painful and prolonged recovery in the hospital, and at home.
