Went here a couple days ago and I experienced some of the worst service I have ever received at a restaurant. We called ahead because there were 6 of us and when we arrived the hostess said they were getting our take ready, they even got our menus ready. Then they decided to seat a group of 10, that was a walk in after us. We asked why they got seated before us and we were told that they have a hard time seating a table of 6 but they can seat a table of 10. I think someone flunked math class unless they changed the fact that 6 is smaller then 10 and would nicely fit at a table that seats 10. We ended up going to Shoney's and their service was excellent.

This place used to be good a few years ago but they have really gone downhill. The service is terrible, the food was mediocre at best, and it was over priced. Let me give you a rundown off our experience this evening: First off, the place was freezing. I know a lot of restaurants are, but my wife had to get up to go outside at one point because she couldn't take it (and no we are not elderly). They had a prime rib special but I had to ask about it because the waitress wasn't going to tell us anything. In any event we all decided on the breaded fried chicken dinner since I have had that there many times over the years and liked it. The waitress then comes back with our drinks and bread. The bread is half of a tiny loaf (for 3 people) which equates to about 1 1/2 square inches of bread a person. I mean at that point why even bother. We then get our meals and the chicken was all breading and not even done all the way. The coleslaw I had wasn't even cut. I had to put it on a dish and cut it to even eat. The cost for this horrible dinner experience: $54. We won't go back there again. There are far better restaurants out there for the money. In fact, I signed up for a yp.com account just to write this review. I'm hoping others read it before going there.

Aubrey's is a great place to eat. The prices are competitive and the food is excellent. It has has a great atmosphere with well trained courtesy staff.
