Motel 6

It smelled like cheese. But a nice cheese, maybe Parmesan..not Limburger or anything.If you stay, ask for a room that does not smell like cheese...unless you like that sort of thing.

I called to make reservations and after letting it ring no one answered the phone. When I called back to talk with the front desk I said I was calling to make a reservation but could not get a hold of anyone in that department. She notified me with attitude that there is only one person there and it was her. She then told me she was to busy to answer. The service started bad and I could not see it getting any better I will never stay there.

This hotel is now called Palisade Hotel. It is locally owned and you can walk to just about anywhere from there. The staff, rooms, and location is great!! I like to stay here when I come to town to visit my family. I have checked the other hotels/motels in the area and they are far more expensive than Palisade Hotel. They are definitely one of the cheapest in town. The cheaper ones, you wouldn't want to stay in unless you didn't have a choice in the matter. I encourage everyone to try it out if they are ever in the Yuba City/Marysville area. You will not be disappointed, I guarantee you.
