JK's Cheescake Cafe

The food was amazing. The service was very good. The variety was excellent - soups, salads, some really interesting signature sandwiches and made-from-scratch cheesecake. I have enjoyed their many lunch specials and appreciate the atmosphere of the restaurant as well. As with all smaller restaurants, availability will be determined by how big the lunch crowd gets but there are still a lot of good options to choose from. You won't be disappointed. It's well worth the trip.

Very disappointed to stop in with my husband and son on our way home from Bloomington today to learn you were out of soup AND out of cheesecake due to yesterday's business volume. Actually, you did have cheesecake, but the guests served before us and the two ladies served after us got the last pieces. Not quite sure what the waitress meant when she said "I haven't seen you in here before" when I expressed my disappointment that there was no cheeesecake for my family. I was an "at least twice a week" lunch regular when you first opened and I was working in Martinsville. Waitress said you'll probably have cheesecake on our next visit. It won't matter to us when you have cheesecake again as we won't stop in again. Good business would have been to apologize, offer something in lieu of the soup and cheesecake, especially something that would have enticed us to return - not insult us because we're not "regulars".

I have never tried something on the menu I did not like. The food is excellent, and it is an affordable lunch option, or healthy option for those who are concerned about eating a balanced, healthy diet. The facility is clean and inviting. Additionally, out of all the places I have dined at throughout Martinsville, the staff of JK's is by far the most professional and courteous.
