Ancillary Services Digital X-RaysThe Staff Marietta Rheumatology Associates is proud to offer Digital X-ray services to our patients. This technique creates digital images, allowing all of the advantages of digital photos. Instead of using old-fashioned film, digital X-rays employ digital sensors which require only minutes in our office to develop and makes the X-ray process more convenient for the patient. These X-rays can then be archived, enlarged, enhanced, or manipulated.Marietta Rheumatology Associates offers osteopenia/osteoporosis testing, known as a bone density scan. A bone density scan can give your physician a diagnosis of osteopenia or osteoporosis before you break any bones, or indicates whether you are at risk for either condition. A bone density scan allows patients to find out if they have the early signs of bone loss and take steps to prevent further loss.Bone density scan is fast, easy, and painless. The test takes only about 15 minutes, during which the patient lies quietly on a comfortable bed on the scanner. This method of osteoporosis testing is very precise, giving an early osteopenia/osteoporosis diagnosis.

"Love this office and staff. Been coming here since they were in the old building and love the new office. Have always taken the best care of me and feel like home. The treatments of Remicade and now Humira have changed my life and I feel awesome"

Agree with kpyle21- he is by far the worst dr i have ever seen! I was refered to him by an oncologist to treat lupus. My first visit with him, he spent (literally) less than two minutes in the room, and didnt look over any of my bloodwork, history, symptoms, etc. He perscribed my steroids for my cheat pain without even doing xrays to determine the cause. Of course, he charged me nearly $200 for his time. (I am self pay)

My second visit to him, I brought photos of the symptoms I had experienced since my first visit (two weeks earlier). He confirmed the lupus rash, among other confirmations, but said he would not diagnose; that I needed to re-do all the blood work that the oncologist did (6 weeks prior). Not because they were too old, but because he did not order them the first time. (So, what?they dont count because you didnt make money off them?) when i told him i am still paying off the tests because i have no insurance, and asked why he cant just use what i have, he told me i was being disrespectful- that i needed to respect him because he was a medical doctor. He ended up leaving the room, but not before telling me that he did not wish to see me anymore.

My oncologist is setting me up with another doctor who cares about treating a patient.

It is obvious abbubaker is only in it for the money. So please, keep yours and find a doctor who cares about helping you!

This is the worst doctors office I have ever had to deal with. They do not call in scripts when they claim they did. They are rude and just flat out do not care about their patients. I have been waiting for over 3 weeks for them to call in my meds to my pharmacy and they have still yet to do it even though I have called the office several times to check. They will not tell you their name when you speak with them on the phone, then the next time you call they say well if you didn't get their name I cant help you. They have no compassion for the pain they cause their patients. Do your self a favor and find a different doctor
