DISHONEST & RUDE!

WORST truck buying experience ever! I live in CA and wanted to buy one of their trucks listed on Ebay. They had a very high customer rating which made me think they were a pretty legit place. I spoke with Tim, one of their sales reps, several times over the course of a week asking questions about the condition of the truck and whether it had any mechanical problems I should know about. He assured me there were no problems, just a few small scratches here and there (typical for a black truck). I noticed the exhaust pipe had been modified and asked whether it had a muffler on it, he said it did. The carfax report also showed no problems and the 20+ pictures made the truck appear in pretty decent condition.

So I signed all their paperwork, put $500 down as a deposit, and spent another $600 on airline tix & a hotel for my dad & brother to go pick it up (I wasn't able to go). Upon inspection of the truck, it was obviously in much worse condition than what was represented to me. There were major scratches all over and areas that looked as though they had been painted over to hide major imperfections. The paint didn't match the rest of the truck and had that bubbling look from a bad paint job. There was NO muffler on the exhaust and the truck looked as though it was used mainly as an off road vehicle. The tires were trashed and worst of all, there was a major oil leak somewhere in the engine that must have been dripping onto one of the belts because there was oil splattered all over the engine and inside of the hood. If that doesn't count as a mechanical problem, I don't know what does. They had other trucks with 120,000+ miles on them that looked better than this one. When my dad called Tim on it and his lies to me, he responded with "maybe you guys should have called to ask about the truck instead of your daughter." Apparently they feel that a woman doesn't know anything about trucks and therefore doesn't deserve truthful answers! What a jerk!!

To top it all off, while my dad was waiting to get my deposit back, he overheard Tim and his buddy talking trash in the other room calling us "nit picky Californians". HA!! I'm sorry, but if I'm going to pay almost $20,000 for a vehicle, I don't expect to be blatantly lied to just because I'm female, and I sure as hell expect the vehicle to be in better condition than that!

These guys are the reason car salesmen have such a bad rap. They’re dishonest, rude, and very unprofessional. I would NOT recommend buying a vehicle from them unless you have a chance to thoroughly inspect it first. Don't rely on their BS "inspections". Needless to say, this was an expensive lesson learned.

Beware of this company

I purchased a truck from this company. The truck was reported to be in excellent condition. When I received the truck, it was not in the condition as reported. The truck had a bent rear axle. Although the CARFAX was clean, it had also been wrecked in the front. I had sent a rep to check out the truck, and was told the truck appeared to be ok, so I purchased. A.I. arranged to have it transported. 1 1/2 weeks later I received a truck with a bent rear axle. I was not worried because I had been told that if I bought the vehicle I would have a 4500 mile/3month warranty. Apparently, because I had purchased the vehicle below asking price, the warranty was voided. The voiding of the warranty was not mentioned when I made my offer. So, I am now stuck with a wrecked truck. The owner of the company said it was fine when it left his store to be transported, so it is not his fault that there is a problem. Besides the minor wreck, blown right speaker, the oil and air filter were filthy.
