Dental Examination
Oral cancer screening is a routine part of a dental examination. Regular check-ups, utalizing including an examination of the entire mouth, are essential in the early detection of cancerous and pre-cancerous conditions. You may have a very small, but dangerous, oral spot or sore and not be aware of it.
Oral Cancer Screening
More than 480,000 new cases of oral and throat cancers are diagnosed each year, and over 35,000 of those cases are right here in the United States. Oral cancer kills one person every hour in the U.S., and without proper detection methods, a person may have oral cancer and not even know it. In almost all cases of oral cancer, early detection plays a major role in a patient's chances of survival. By diagnosing and treating oral cancer early, a patient's five year survival rate is 80-90% greater.

Teeth Cleaning
The first line of defense against gum disease is a unique type of cleaning called “scaling and root planing.” In this procedure, an ultrasonic cleaning device is used to remove plaque and tartar from your teeth where regular cleaning devices can't reach: under the gum line, on the tooth, and around the root. Then, the rough surface of the tooth and the root are smoothed out (planed). This provides a healthy, clean surface that makes it easier for the gum tissue to reattach to the tooth.
Fluoride Treatment
Your child should visit the dentist every six months for regular dental cleanings and checkups. We recommend fluoride treatments twice a year along with cleanings to keep teeth their strongest. Tooth sealants are also recommended because they "seal" the deep grooves in your child's teeth, preventing decay from forming in these hard-to-reach areas. Sealants last for several years, but will be monitored at your child's regular checkups.
Dental Sealants
Ask your dentist about dental sealants, protective plastic coatings that can be applied to the chewing surfaces of the back teeth where decay often starts.

Fillings
Dental amalgam poses great risk to dental staff and patients. A patient with an amalgam filling inhales mercury fumes, which evaporate from the filling due to wear. Again, unreacted liquid mercury present in the filling may leak into the surrounding gingiva and other tissues. Removal of a failed amalgam filling also releases mercury vapor which is inhaled by anyone present.

This Case Report presented with a fixed bridge in place 25 years. After two intense calcium treatments without anesthesia or surgery, a weekly regimen of the Calcium Chip was applied under the bridge area. Complete bone regeneration resulted in 15 months.

Flap Surgery
During pocket reduction procedures (also known as “flap surgery”), we fold back the gum tissue and remove the bacteria hiding underneath, as well as the hardened plaque and tartar that have collected. We may also remove any tissue that is too damaged to survive. We then sew the healthy tissue back into place. Now that the tooth and root are free of bacteria, plaque, and tartar, and the pockets have been reduced, the gums can reattach to the teeth.
Tooth Extractions
IV-C has been clinically tested repeatedly and has yielded some astounding results, from being used as a tool to repair the immune system during cancer treatment to fighting pain during and following dental procedures [1] [2]. For those patients with old mercury-based implants, an IV-C can help chelate (loosen the bonds) residual mercury from the bonding site as well as act as a heavy-metal detoxification agent during removal [3]. According to one study, an IV-C can also provide rapid recovery for patients experiencing painful dry socket after a tooth extraction, or even prevent it if administered during extraction [4].
Ridge Augmentation
PRF promotes healing in bone grafting for dental implants, onlay and inlay grafts, sinus lift procedures, ridge augmentation procedures, and closure of cleft, lip, palate defects, repair of bone defects creating by removal of teeth or small cysts, and the repair of fistulas between the sinus cavity and mouth. This is of great significance to the surgeon who places dental implants. By adding PRF your implant surgeon can now grow bone more predictably and faster than ever before.
Bone Grafting
Autogenous Bone Grafting: Occasionally, the ideal areas for dental implants do not have sufficient bone quantity to support the implants. In these cases, it is often necessary to “borrow” bone from another area of your mouth, or to use PRF to graft in the deficient area. Often, the area of choice is from the chin or in the back of the jaw where your wisdom teeth used to be.
