        Talk a good game but watch out! Such luring voices on the phone but do not ask for "After Sale Rescue!!!" I was stranded 5 days and retreated to Firestone. 2 HR service "delivered". 190 Mandeville location across from Chili's. What a breath of fresh air.

        I have been buying tires from Tire World for the past 10 years. Over the course of time, they have installed a number of valve stems that prematurely failed but they always replaced them with no charge. Though an inconvinience to have to go back and have this re-work done, I remained a loyal customer. Recently, another valve stem that they installed when I purchased my last set of tires failed to keep a seal so i went back to get it replaced. Very dissappointed when I was slapped with an invoice for over $27 for changing out this valve stem. Over the course of 10 yrs and multiple cars, I have spent a lot of money in their store, but this will be the last dollar I spend there. I would not recommend doing business with these people.

        Mr. Ken B. we appreciate your concern about the valve stem, and hope we can make it right for you. Since 2011 we have replaced one valve stem for the same price, but the charge was discounted on the invoice. We charge $24.95 to repair a leaking tire ($27.26 after tax) mounted on a vehicle. The charge was for cleaning the oxidation off of the aluminum wheel around the valve stem where it was leaking & also around the bead, and to install a new valve stem. We are sorry for your inconvenience and appreciate your many years of doing business with us.
