General Info: Dr. Thu Pham is a Board Certified comprehensive ophthalmologist who performed her training at the Cole Eye Institute at the Cleveland Clinic. Shegrew up in Gaithersburg, Maryland and attended Quince Orchard High School. Dr. Pham was a National Merit Scholar at the Johns Hopkins University, obtaining her undergraduate degree in biomedical engineering. She obtained her medical degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine. Dr. Pham focuses on cataract, glaucoma, and refractive surgeries. She performs laser-assisted cataract surgery, along with advanced technology intraocular lens implants to give her patients the best results. Dr. Pham provides a range of glaucoma services from SLT laser to MIGS (Minimally Invasive Glaucoma Surgery) including istent as well as tube shunt, trabeculectomy and other procedures. Her refractive expertise includes LASIK, PRK and Visian ICL (implantable contact lens for highly myopic patients). Dr. Pham has interest in mission trips and giving lectures on glaucoma and cataract surgery. In addition to English, she also speaks Vietnamese. In her spare time, she enjoys knitting, kayaking, and spending time with her young son.
