Jax Lawn & Tree Services

This company charged $5100 to (1) remove a major lead from a maple tree, (2) top out an oak tree, (3) trim an additional maple tree, (4) level a depression in the back yard with top soil, (5) clean up debris, and (6) spray trees five times for any infestations. All tasks were completed except for (item 3) triming the additional tree, (item 4) level a depression in the back yard, and (item 6) spray trees for a total of about $900 in unfinished work. The do not return my calls and the phone number is now disconnected. DO NOT trust this company.

They aren’t good or trustworthy now! Reading the other reviews, maybe Jax was decent in 2017, but now they appear to be a shell game. I did not put together all the shady activity until after...dumb on my part. They did most of the work, butchered a set of three crepe myrtles (claimed miscommunication, though my text messages prove otherwise), and of course never came back to finish work because we stupidly paid them.

They appear to have bailed on the temporary office/address listed here as well.

Man arrived after I had lost a tree to the Storm Riley. He gave a price for cutting second tree that could fall, price in ballpark of my purse. He went to get a contract, gave me an insurance document. Did not come back, I left to run errors, he cut tree while I was gone, Surprised he did without me agreeing or signing contract. Claimed he has a crew - they came back on Sunday cut the tree up and I believed it was his crew who chipped the brush and branches. They left, have never come back, I have two trees on the ground. Man came today and said he was the one who chipped the branches, never go paid, he was called in. Bottom line - recommend you do not call this company. I will reverse this is they come back. The falling tree broke Comcast line. They came and laid a line on top of ground until utilities are marked. Marking is done; however, Comcast cannot dig and lay line until I get someone to take away the trees. Live and learn - I am not out of money - only paid him part that was what he said was for the cutting. Now have to find someone to haul away the tree and grind the stumps. Really believed he was O.K. This is his company.

Really really good experience - hard workers they are.
Did just what they tell you - kept me informed and left property as they found it! Debris free!

This was my first time using Jax Lawn & Tree Services and I am very pleased with the experience and will recommend them. Santwan was very professional and willing to work around my schedule. If I ever had any questions he was only a call away. Job took longer then expected but I'm happy he and the boys took their time because I am satisfied with the end product.
