Continental Event Center

I am a little late in writing this review my wedding was March 28, 2014 but this couldn't go without being said...The continental event center is the best place to have any event an Jim Hester is the main reason! I had already had my wedding venue booked for both the wedding and the reception but my mom kept urging me to go look at the event center but I kept thinking..how could something in a strip mall be nice or what I want! Well fast forward to my cupcake tasting and my Aunt who had recently got engaged want to check it out so I went over with her and my mom and let me tell you ummm WOW..those were the first words out of my mouth..this place is gorgeous!!! Chandlers everywhere and big beautiful mirrors, a beautiful bridal suite and can't forget the bathrooms...i mean even in my wedding dress and someone holding up my dress I still fit in a stall with tons of room to move around...I canceled the room reserved from the other place for my reception and booked the event center! I had to have this place! Well throughout the entire planning process if we had questions Jim would answer our questions and even suggest things to do that we didn't even think of!! We had a last minute food request and called Jim in desperation and he didn't even blink an eye he said it would be taken care no problem at all. Well 3 days before my wedding mother nature decided she wanted us to have a treat and it snowed. Well I made the decision to move the wedding in doors...we called Jim to ask if we could use the reception room for the wedding and instead he let us us one of the rooms he has there and even had his crew decorate for us and move stuff around! Everyone that day was unbelievably helpful and it made the greatest day of my life even greater and more memorable! Jim even sang us a song and unknown to him it is one of the songs I love and use to play for my husband! I absolutely recommend the continental event center for any event needs but I especially recommend it for your wedding...YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT!! I will use Jim and the cec for any other event in the future!!!
